Bout of Books 22

I enjoyed the Dewey’s 24 hour Readathon so much on Saturday that I have decided to participate in Bout of Books this time. I’ve never participated before, and it is the week preceding my wedding, so I’m certain I won’t get much read. But it’ll still be fun to participate as much as I can. We’ll see what I mange.

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 14th and runs through Sunday, May 20th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 22 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team

  1. I feel like I always find out about readathons the day they happen, lol. Regardless, I cannot participate as much as I would like, because kiddos take up the bulk of my day (which I’m sure you can relate to)!

  2. That should give you some distraction the week of your wedding! You may find you have more time than you think, too much time to fret, in fact. Hope you find something fun to read! And that you have a lovely wedding day!

  3. I like the low pressure aspect of this one. This one also looks fun. Your post is reminding me that I used to participate in reading events but that I have not done so at all lately. As my work schedule is a bit crazy this month I will not likely join this one, but in June, when things slow down for me, I might look to join some.
