SciFi month is starting today! (Hosted by imyril at One More and Lisa at Dear Geek Place.) It fits in nicely with the Margaret Atwood Month that I’m participating in and my Dresden Group Read that I’m hosting (check my Challenges page). So here’s my reading list for the month. Small, yes, but I’ve got a lot going on.
I have a difficult time with SciFi, but this would be a great challenge to participate in. Enjoy the books you picked for the challenges.

It IS nice to get out of your comfort zone sometimes. 😁

Good luck with your challenge! I have to really be in the mood for Sci-Fi, so I don’t think this would be a good challenge for me. However, have you read The Pearl Wars by Nick James? It’s a good one to add to your list!

Good to know! I have not heard of that book. Honestly, I don’t read a lot of Science Fiction, but it’s good to get some under my belt sometimes.

Love that cover for Oryx and Crake. I’ve not read much sci-fi at all (and when I have there is a healthy dose of romance :). Good luck with the challenge!

Thanks! I don’t read a lot of Sci Fi, either – I tend to read more fantasy. But it’s nice to change it up a bit. 😁

Welcome aboard 🙂 I love that cover for Oryx and Crake – it’s a few years since I read it, but I recall it as intriguing – slow to start and then one of those books you sort of can’t look away from? I look forward to hearing what you make of it!

Yeah, I’ve been told the beginning is a bit confusing, but the book is worth it.

Well as I am really bad at following any TBR I am not the one who would throw a stone LOL

My TBR is always being modified. But that’s part of the fun.

As you know I love science fiction. I may be reading Oryx and Crake soon myself. I would not likly get more then two books of a particular genre done in a month.
Your mention of science fiction made me think of your old blog with the picture of the Borg Cube.

Yeah, that was a good theme! I don’t know why I have the need to change it up so much. 😂🤣
