In which Rachel gets the stomach flu

5 year throwback.
I miss you Grandma!

This week wasn’t as eventful as last week. I started working with my boss to have a smooth transition out – though I’m leaving him in a tight spot, so the transition won’t be much easier than if I strolled out in the middle of the day and never came back. I caught the stomach flu from my sister and was sick a couple of days. Spent a nice Olive Garden dinner with a friend, and that’s about it!

  1. I am sorry to hear about your illness. I find that stomach problems are the worst. I find them to be unbearable.

It sounds as if you are really being as accommodating as possible to your current employer. I think a lot of people would not do as much as you are doing.

  2. Ah well. It seems like I've been sick a lot lately…it happens. I don't have digestive tract issues very often either – in fact, I could probably count them on one hand. One with a migraine, and a couple of hang overs when I was young.

I like to accommodate partly because my boss is a really good guy and partly because I don't like burning bridges. I don't know why people burn perfectly good bridges all the time.
