A mouse takes a walk through the deep dark woods. She meets a few predators along the way, including a Gruffalo, but outwits them all. OMG, this is my favorite board book of all time. I love reading it to my son so much that I can recite it. Definitely suggested for babies through five year olds.

oooo. I’ve always wanted to read the Gruffalo! It sounds like such a sweet story! I love stories that families can bond over. I found a book when I was a teenager that both I and my mum ended up bonding over, it’s one of my favourite memories. We start raving about the book every time it’s mentioned and we’re together now lol.
